How This Library Is Written
Our evidence rules: what we cite, what we refuse to invent, and how Futaaba product language is kept separate from craft scholarship.

Non-negotiable rules
- Every factual statement is supported by one or more authoritative sources listed on the page.
- We do not invent history, dates, artisan practices, or terminology.
- We prefer government, GI, Handloom Mark, Silk Mark, Textiles Committee, museum, and recognised textile-history sources.
- If a claim lacks such support, we omit it or say that support could not be found in the sources we cite.
- Product facts (prices, fibres, collection names) come only from Futaaba’s own pages and published brand information on this Site.
- Practical shopping advice on the Knowledge Centre hub is editorial guidance for choosing among our collections — not a substitute for statute, lab tests, or marks.
Evidence levels
Library articles may label statements by evidence level. Level D never establishes historical fact on its own.

| Level A | Government publications, Acts, GI Registry materials, Silk Mark, Handloom Mark, and equivalent official scheme documentation. |
| Level B | Academic books, university publications, museums, and recognised textile historians. |
| Level C | Industry organisations, technical documentation, and trade publications that accurately cite or embody primary craft knowledge. |
| Level D | Editorial interpretation derived from multiple cited sources — used only to help readers understand information already supported elsewhere. Level D is never used to establish historical fact. |
How we separate evidence from interpretation
- Evidence — statements directly supported by cited authorities.
- Editorial explanation — simplification, terminology help, and context. Never new evidence.
- Brand note — Futaaba products, policies, or catalogue guidance only.
Controlled terminology
One preferred spelling is used in titles, headings, navigation, metadata, schema, and breadcrumbs. Variants are acknowledged in the article body. We do not create duplicate pages for spelling alone.

Library standards (before publication)
Every future article must satisfy the following. If any requirement cannot be met, the article remains unpublished until the necessary evidence has been obtained.
- Every factual statement supported by listed sources.
- Sources listed publicly with category and type where known.
- Primary sources preferred.
- Editorial interpretation clearly separated (callouts).
- Terminology standardised to this page.
- Internal links reviewed.
- Schema implemented correctly.
- Revision history created.
- Editorial metadata complete.
- Reviewed by the Futaaba Editorial Team before publication.
